*Rhyming is an important part of phonological awareness. Research on rhyming with young children has long demonstrated its importance in the early stages of learning to read.
*Enclosed here are 72 cards-36 pairs-of rhyming pictures with cute, full color graphics. Each card has the picture, the word written below for assistance by tutors, aides, or parents, and a unique symbol in the upper corner to be used as a self-checking method. In addition, three games are included with detailed directions so aides, tutors, or RTI helpers can easily play the games with students.
These cards are great for RTI and vocabulary development. They are especially helpful with young ELL students or students who need to build background exposure to assist in reading and vocabulary development.
