Imagine a resource that focuses on practicing common "sight words" that have the same phonetic patters. Here you have it! You can use this resource whole group to practice words containing ay or ey, or you can choose to have this resource available to students so they can practice the words without the need for adult assistance on unknown words (audio available). I have used it both ways and my students like to option to choose which of my word lists to work on based on the words they struggle with most. There are a total of 17 slides each being hyperlinked to the home slide as well as the category the word belongs in, so this resource is completely student-friendly. If this resource works for you, please check out my other Just Sound It Out powerpoints or supplemental resources. If you need a meatier version (more words per category), check out my phonetic pattern powerpoints (without audio).
