Games make learning math fun! Practice comparing decimals with this great game. All you need to do is print and go - only need pencils and a paper clip! Game can be played individually or with a partner. Also great for a small group setting.
Game comes with anchor chart for comparing decimals (great to include in your game directions for a reminder) and a game mat for 3rd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade. The different variations for the grade levels gives you room for differentiation within your own grade level as well. Directions are included on the game mat.
1. Spin the spinner to create your decimals. Use a paper clip and your pencil to use the spinner on this page. The first number you spin goes in the tenths place, and the second number goes in the hundredths place. You will need two decimals for each problem.
2. After creating your decimals, write <, >, or = in the circle to compare the decimals.
3. If you are playing with a partner, one partner gets the first column, and the second partner gets the second column. Spin for your decimal. Whoever has the largest gets the point.
