This resource can be used as a stand alone for students or it can be used as a companion to the K-2 Social Justice Morning Meeting Slides.

On Wednesdays:

The social justice slides delve into information about different countries around the world. It is important for students to be aware of the multiple countries, languages, and cultures that exist outside of their own home country. It is also relevant for students that come from other places to see themselves represented.

**The goal is not for students to form a touristic approach to other nations. Rather, it is to develop an understanding that countries and cultures outside of their own exist and that these countries/cultures have value**

**Having a classroom map is highly suggested.

**All of the information I researched for these countries, I was able to obtain through the countries’ official websites and the CIA.
