Probability refers to a chance, a guess, or a prediction which can be confusing to children. The confusion begins because of the variety of mathematical ways of how it is expressed in worksheets and test.
The probability data can be presented in a probability line, pie chart(s), frequency chart(s), fractions, and or percentages. Another part that confuses the students are the terms being used to represent probability. Probability can also be expressed by using vocabulary words such as "unlikely” or “likely," “equally” or “even chance”, "certain," or, “impossible”, "possible. “ These posters will visually help students understand probability from the simples form, while the 2nd poster prepares them for what's to come.
