Print, laminate and cut out the parts that you need. I have organised the number goals into a fishing box. I will also get another box for the pattern and EAS strand.
Each student gets a little ruler with their name on it. I will keep these on their desks during maths and in the box when they are not using them.
Choose the goal they need to work on and velco or blue tac it onto their ruler. I will be using one or two goals at a time.
Introduce the goals using the posters and explicitly explain the goal symbols (only the ones you are using – as they progress introduce more). You can also use these posters as a display or a bump it up wall.
Use the I can statements for each part and the Achievement booklet cover to make a booklet. Mark off what the student have achieved during conferencing with them and you can use these at report time or data tracking.
If you have any feed back on this product I would love to hear from you!
