Have you tried to make lesson plan books work with just boxes when your schedule is a lot more complicated?? :) Well, I am one of those teachers that has to find the perfect lesson plan template before I can get myself planning! So here is my latest version!
I have 2 pages with text boxes including the Reading, Writing, and Math CCSS for K-5. This way you can easily copy and paste your grade level appropriate standards where you want them ready to go. You will see on the examples where I've placed them so you can simply circle the standard you are covering that day. Super simple! :)
I have attached 3 pages of my own so that you can see an example set-up. Since I use Keynote mostly, I didn't realize how much PPT is different so the template is set as pictures in the background. This way if you need to move things around or change things, you can easily add boxes/shapes/etc. over what is on the screen. The first 2 example pages are a whole day spread. The 3rd sheet is the same as the 1st page except I formatted the first boxes a little differently since my Monday writing plans are different from the rest. By no means do you have to use it for writing, I just wanted to give you another option or idea. :)
I hope these templates help make your planning a little easier! :)
I also have another lesson plan template that I use for my formal evaluations if you want to take a look at those! They are my BEST SELLER! :) Common Core Weekly Lesson Plan Template Editable for all grades
