Cut out all the rainbow mice and special cards. There are 42 /k/ words and 42 /g/ words. Then turn all the cards upside down and mix them up. Let your student choose a card and say the /k/ or /g/ word on the card. If the student says the word correctly, then he/she gets to keep the card. If the student draws a mixed paint splatter card, then he/she gets an extra turn. If the student draws a cat card, he/she must put all his/her cards back in the pile. You can play the game so that the winner is the person with the most mouse cards at the end of the game or so that the winner is the person that gets one mouse of each of the 7 colors first.
