This is a fun, addictive, and never-ending game to use in your literacy centers to reinforce and practice Fry Words. The students have so much fun waiting to see who will draw the KABOOM card that they forget they are learning and practicing their literacy skills! :)
I laminated the cards and instructions and keep them in small snack containers that I purchased at Dollar Tree. You can either cut them into squares, or use a 1-3/4" circle punch to cut them out.
I have also included directions on how to differentiate this activity for below level learners, on-level learners, and above level learners.
This game works really well in the classroom . . . the students just grab a KABOOM game and are engaged for the entire center block. So wonderful!
