This is a vocabulary strategy I use with my students. This strategy challenges students to do more than just state a definition.
To study, my students create KIM strips then cut them into pieces and match them up. This is an awesome study tool for students to use in class when they have "extra time," or even at home as a study technique.
For long-term use, teachers can create KIM strips for vocabulary and laminate them. Cut them out and store in Ziploc bags for students to use in small groups. GREAT strategy!
Can be adapted for any age level.
