Product Description
This is an innovative program of combining yoga with emotional intelligence to help children grow stronger, overcome learning difficulties that relate to stress or self-esteem, and grow confidence. Children’s ability to relate and connect to others will improve; bullies will build empathy; timid children will stand up for themselves; and children will develop a strong moral character.
Each feature includes beautiful and original illustrations for children to read and enjoy. Reward cards and activities are included.
Each week your classroom can enjoy growing compassion, love and resilience in Monica’s ‘Virtue and Yoga pose of the week.’

This weeks Virtue and Yoga pose;
KINDNESS
Kindness is the act of speaking or behaving in a way that shows caring and love. You can be kind to people, places or things. Kindness is love in action.
When you are kind to others, you use gentle hands for touch, and a gentle voice for speech. Kindness is a universal symbol of hope. Our program offers activities to build kindness, share kindness, and develop kindness in children through acknowledgment, actions, and yoga postures.
Our yoga pose of the week;
GUM TREE pose.
Gum Tree pose helps children build natural intelligence, empathy, focus, and balance.
Each week’s feature uses the beautiful and original art by Monica Batiste who is a trained Fine Artist and Children’s Book Illustrator. Monica is a published author and educator who teaches yoga to adults and children.

The five aspects of Emotional Intelligence which were first realized by Daniel Goleman, and are now considered the most important development to realize full potential.
