First are informational paragraphs and examples explaining and showing the old style of English used in sentences from King Arthur and His Noble Knights. Then there are 8 sentence prompts and below each are two new sentences which paraphrase the language of the prompt sentence. Students circle the letter of the answers that give the correct meaning or translation of the prompt sentences. This worksheet will serve as a nice supplement if you are teaching about King Arthur Legends, but it can be used even if students have not had any exposure to King Arthur tales. Being a word document it is easy to print off copies and also edit if necessary. The third page is the answer key. It comes with a black-and-white drawing of a knight's helmet and sword.
