Have you heard about the upgrade to the traditional KWL charts?
: what do I Know?
: what do I Want to know?
H: How do I find out?
: what have I Learned?
Q: what Questions do I still have?
That "H" is crucial for students who are becoming informationally literate. HOW they will find the answers to their questions is important. They need to critically evaluate the appropriateness and validity of any given resource--not just accept it at face value, right? So have them think about the strategies they will use to get the information they need BEFORE they start clicking all over the internet!
The "Q" is an excellent way to show students that learning doesn't stop! What they have learned could and should stimulate new questions. Have your students think beyond the end of their project or essay, and they just might find a new passion!

⚠️Please note that each chart is basically the same. Some have lines for writing, some do not. Some have borders elements around the sections, some do not. This is shown in the preview.
