A fun game with 52 cards to learn letters and their sounds. For 3 to 5 players.
How to play:
-Deal all the cards to the players until there are none.
-Each player puts the cards in a pile in front of them, upside down.
-At the same time, each player puts a card in the center right-side up so everybody can see.
-If any of the players sees a letter that is repeated in 2 or more cards he or she has to shout out the letter (or sound). Then, he can keep the cards that have te same letter.
-The cards who do not have repeat letters return to their owners.
-If any player shouts out a letter and it’s the wrong one, they have to give one of their cards to each player.
-If none of the cards have repeat letters, the first one to notice and shout “KABOOM!” gets all the cards.
-If you run out of cards you are eliminated.
-The player with the most cards wins.
NOTE: The cards contain unppercase and lowercase letters .
If you want an additional level of difficulty you can ask your students to say a word that starts with that letter in order to keep the cards.
