This is a 27 slide powerpoint presentation that introduces students to the famous Russian Abstract Artist, Wassily Kandinsky. Students will view abstract artwork created by the artist and learn what inspired his masterpieces. The end of the powerpoint presentation walks students through making their own abstract artwork and reinforces geometric and organic shapes, lines, overlapping and using primary colors to make secondary colors. The project is broken down into 3 separate class periods.
