This PowerPoint contains 144 annotated slides from photos I took while on Teachers of American History (TAH) tours in 2006 and 2012. They include Little Rock, Arkansas-Little Rock's Central High School, (the site of the Little Rock Nine desegregation) and President William J. Clinton's Presidential Library. The slides from Kansas City focus on sites such as the Hallmark Center, the Steamboat Arabia Museum, Central Plaza's fountains, and the World War I Liberty Memorial and Museum. Independence, Missouri contains historical places such as President Harry Truman's Presidential Library and his home, and those from Fulton, Missouri include Winston Churchill's Museum with a portion of the fallen Berlin Wall. Slides taken in and around St. Louis are those from the Gateway Arch, Jefferson Memorial, Eads Bridge, and the Old Courthouse (Dred Scott case). Finally, the Memphis photos focus on Rock 'N' Roll (Elvis Presley's "Graceland"), Sun Records/Studio, Beall Street, and the Lorraine Motel (site of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination). I have at least 10 hours involved in this PowerPoint, and it has transitions, and some sound effects. Thank you for previewing it.
