12 colorful themed slide power point to keep your day running smoothly and manage the time effectively . I taught a first grade class using the power point method and the students could run the class almost independently! The slides are timed. All you or a designated student does, is click and go! I also created this power point to be used for homeschooling a 4 day (16 hour per week schedule.) Included in this presentation are:
*slide one: Bible focus- You could change this to the morning message or journal entry time. Simply change the picture and title on this slide and change your the morning message each day, or change the picture and title to say: Write in your journals. Provide students with a writing prompt or allow free choice writing.
*slide two: Math rotations (round one). This slide shows what each student would be working on at this particular time. MUC (Math u See program), PreK math concept, and math facts. Simply add the names of your students for the rotations and what you want them to work on during this rotation. I have included 2 math rotations in this power point.
*slide three: Spelling and Letter of the week focus- Students use the Words Their Way sorts. The preK students focus on activities for the letter of the week. Again, add your student names to the rotations.
*slide four: Sight words and fluency practice time for some students, while the preK student continues to work on Letter of the week materials. Add your student names.
*slide five:Phonics focus for some students, while the preK student continues to work on Letter of the week or phonemic awareness skills. Add your student names.
*slide six: Read to self focus, while the PreK student continues to work on letter of the week or phonemic awareness skills. Add your student names.
*slide seven & eight: reading comprehension skills : I have allowed 2 rotations for this section of the timed power point. All you need to do, is change the skill information and type the name of your students in the designated rotations.
*slide nine:Writing and Grammar focus. I have included what I would place focus on for this particular day. All you have to change would be your focus for that day.
*slide ten: Calendar math time - See my TPT store for materials I have created to use at this time.
*slide eleven: Math Round 2. All you need to do on this slide is type in the names of your students for these rotations and what you want these students to work on during this time frame.
*slide twelve: This is a wrap-up the day slide. It says: "Have a good day!" with a cute smiley face. You could add a recap of what was taught on this slide or remind students of tonight's homework or upcoming tests.
