Product Description
For use with fiction and non-fiction narratives for keeping track of story! Use this page and get students reflecting on and recording the important things! Setting, characters, and author's craft, that is.
Students will read ANY story/narrative, record the characters along with who they are, keep track of the overall setting and any changes, and check mark the author's use of sequencing, using flashbacks/foreshadowing/flash-forwards/developing background information. I print three and use for the beginning, middle, and ends of books! There is a place to circle whether the page is for the beginning, middle, or end of a text. Designed for multiple uses, multi-use.
Flexible-use options:
-whole class novel/book/genre studies
-a job in a lit. circle
-independent reading/SSR/DEAR
-as part of a project or HW packet
It's a great and powerful way to keep track of any book right from the start, or from ANY other point you may choose!
