Background: On January 20, 1961 at approximately 12:30 pm in Dallas, Texas the Nation was shocked with the death of thirty-fifth President John F. Kennedy. Kennedy he was riding in a Lincoln Continental four-door convertible. The car was completely open at the top (the car, code-named X-100). It had no armor or bulletproof elements whatsoever, the tires were not bulletproof, there was no bulletproof glass, it did have a removable plastic top, but, again, it was just Plexiglas. Riding inside the car with President Kennedy was Jackie Kennedy, Texas Governor John Connelly, his wife, Nellie, and two secret service agents. As enthusiastic crowds cheered them on, Connelly’s wife turned to Kennedy and said, “Mr. President, you can't say Dallas doesn't love you.” Just seconds later, shots rang out from what was “Said” to be the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building, fatally wounded JFK, sending a nation into mourning and triggering countless conspiracies.
Lee Harvey Oswald, an ex-marine with Soviet Union ties was arrested for the assassinated. Unfortunately, he could never be put to trial, because two days later Jack Ruby, a nightclub operator, killed him. Many people believe that a single bullet, or a “magic bullet”, shot by Oswald was the reason for Kennedy’s death; however, one bullet could NOT have killed John F. Kennedy. THESIS: Kennedy’s assassination WAS a conspiracy. While it is a fact that Oswald did shoot John F. Kennedy, his death was more complex than a single bullet, the CIA and the FBI were involved in the assassination and the cover-up. . Body Paragraphs: 1. The CIA set- Kennedy up for failure at the Bay of Pigs, 2. Kennedy was NOT properly protected during his trip to Dallas, 3. Kennedy’s autopsy was tampered with by military doctors, 4. the Zupruter film with voice recordings shows evidence that more than one shot was fired, one of which was across the schoolyard building at the Grassy Knoll, leading us to believe that there is no way that one man, Lee Harvey Oswald, despite his military capability could have shot more than one bullet from his rifle. Therefore, the Kennedy assassination was in fact a conspiracy.
