For those, 50 years and older, November 22, 1963 was a pivotal moment in our country’s history. The Assassination of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963 can be compared to The Terrorist Attack on September 11, 2001. Both of those tragic days were life changers for all Americans.
Spark students’ interest in American History by having them get up-close and personal to people who experienced those two pivotal moments in our Nation’s history. The Generation of age 50 and older have stories to share. This activity is a tool for students to gather information about the reactions of individuals who were alive during the assassination of President Kennedy and during the Attack on America on September 11, 2001.
