The following is a bundle of 3 different activities focusing on the presidency of John F. Kennedy (a minor part about LBJ) and the Cold War.
The first activity is a set of 14 questions in which students investigate the presidency of JFK and LBJ with emphasis on JFK and the Cold War.
The second event is a comparison activity in which students are given a short reading on King Arthur's Camelot and a comparison reading about JFK's version of Camelot with 3 follow-up questions included.
The last activity is a guided reading activity. Students are provided with a 1 page reading about the Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis and they are instructed to use that reading to complete a fill-in the blank guided reading (which is included) and pairs with the reading.
These three activities are a great resource for teaching Kennedy and the Cold War in the 1960's.
