Key Attributes of Quadratic Functions - Four Corners Activity
Looking for a unique way for your students to differentiate between key attributes of quadratic functions? Here it is! With this activity, students will be given five different scenarios. Each scenario has two questions with it. They will determine which attribute is needed to answer the question. I have my students answers the questions first on their own. Then, the teacher will prompt them to move to a certain area of the room depending on which attribute they chose. Students will explain why they chose that attribute, and discuss back and forth proving their reasoning. It not only allows your students to get up and move, but it also requires a deeper level of understanding! My students enjoy these activities!
