Product Description
This 11 measure worksheet of half notes for different instrument groups (flute/mallets, clarinets, saxophone, trumpet/tenor saxophone, trombone/baritone bc, tuba) can be used by instrumental music teachers as a tool to review, refine, extend, and teach the rules for key signatures and accidentals to their students. Worksheets can be played as a band or used separately as treble or bass clef worksheets. Sheet is effective for all first through fourth year music students. Accidentals affect the first of the measure, the end of the measure, affect key signature notes, and include some ties. I have used this worksheet, and I was very pleased with the summative value it created on the unit Key Signatures and Accidentals that was presented in beginning and intermediate band. I used it in conjunction with the Key Signature/Accidental handout I created. The tools helped to clarify and give a "hands on" approach to music theory. Score and individual labeled staff lines included.
