Teaching your students the necessary ICT skills to become confident with using a computer can be a challenging task. One of these skills is learning how to use keyboard shortcuts. Without this essential ICT competency, students will take even longer to complete a computer-based task. If you thought it took forever for students to log onto a computer, imagine how bad it would be if they were trying to type out a document without having any knowledge of keyboard short cuts.
Students need to know two things when using a keyboard short cut:
Most keyboard shortcut posters on TPT just show which buttons need to be pressed without explaining when a shortcut should be used.
Our posters do both.
As part of our commitment to appeal to as many visual tastes as possible, ‘Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows (Posters)’ is available in 5 different border styles. The text contained within our posters has been written in a large, visually appealing font to ensure students (and teachers) can see them from a distance. Our posters can also be printed off with a stylish, colourful background OR If this doesn’t suit you, then there is the option to print them off without a background.
If you purchase a resource, then it makes sense for it to be available in multiple formats. Our ‘Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows (Posters)’ are available in A4, letter, A3 and ledger formats. Wherever you teach in the world, there will be a format that you can use.
