Keyboarding-Typing Games- Missing Vowels Fun Game with TV Show Titles- PowerPoint Version
This is a PowerPoint that is a fun guessing game that can be played in a keyboarding/typing class, etc. The PowerPoint consists of 20 slides that contain movie titles with the vowels missing from them. Students need to identify the titles. A directions slide and answer key slide are also included. The directions consist of the following: Directions: You are about to view 20 slides that contain movie titles with the vowels missing. Vowels are: a,e,i,o,u. Your task is to guess the movie title with the vowels missing from it. On a blank Word document, please type your name and then as you view each slide, number your answers as you respond either manually or with number bullets. If you don’t know the answer to a slide, please simply type for that number: Don’t know. The student(s) with the most correct answers will be rewarded. Good luck!
Students will love playing this game and it is a great way to break the boredom of your regular typing lessons. With this activity, students get to practice typing skills while having fun. The game will take about 10-15 minutes.
