This download is a fun PowerPoint review game called Keyboarding Trivia. Students can be put into small groups. There are 30 slides that contain trivia questions related to the keys on the keyboard. Entrance effects are on the text so before proceeding to the next slide the answer will be revealed. Questions also enter slide. Each group can be asked a question and if they get it right they get a point. The specific directions on the directions slide are as follows: The following 30 slides contain trivia on the keys on the computer keyboard. Students are to be placed in small groups. Each group will take turns answering a trivia question. If they get the question correct, the team will be rewarded a point. As the instructor clicks through the slides, the answer will be revealed before the next question. The team with the most points at the end of the game will be the winners and rewarded a small prize. Have fun and good luck. All keyboards should be turned over unless they have a keyboard skin on them. Handouts, textbooks, cell phones, etc. should also be out of view.
This is a fun and excellent way to help students review the location, correct finger reach, etc. of keys. Example trivia questions: Which letter key is located above the "S" key? What is the first letter in the bottom row? Please see the preview for more.
