This is a PowerPoint that is a fun guessing game that can be played in a keyboarding/typing class, etc. The PowerPoint consists of 25 pictures of various types of board games/games that the students need to identify. A directions slide and answer key slide are also included. The directions consist of the following: You are about to view 25 slides that contain pictures of various board games/games. On a blank Word document, please type your name and then as you view each slide, number your answers as you respond either manually or with number bullets. If you don’t know the answer to a slide, please simply type for that number: Don’t know. The student(s) with the most correct answers will be rewarded. Good luck! Note: Keep in mind that there are many editions to these board games/games and that the picture chosen represents just one of them- mainly the most current. You can also have students play in teams. The winner(s) can get a small reward.
Students love playing this game and it is a great way to break the boredom of your regular typing lessons. With this activity, students get to practice typing skills while having fun. The game will take about 10-15 minutes.
