Keyboarding-Typing- Word Former Game
The Word Former Game is sort of like Boggle® but the rules are a little different. Using the matrix of 16 letters on the game sheet, players will form words. Unlike Boggle® in which words are formed from letters that adjoin horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to the left, right, or up-and-down, players can form words however they like as long as all the letters actually appear in the matrix of letters on the game sheet. No letter may be used more than once within a single word though. When forming a word, it must be typed. Students should keep their eyes on their own screen. Students should keep forming words until the time is up. Give students a designated amount of time- 3-4 minutes is good.
This download includes the direction sheet, scoring information, etc. and two game sheets. Students will enjoy playing this game. Small prizes can be awarded.
