I use this handout with my students for guided note taking and practice. It covers four of the videos in the Newton's Laws of Motion series on Friction and Incline Planes. I have organized the videos for presentation in a different order than what is on the khanacademy.org website, as I feel it provides better background information moving forward.
You could definitely change the order & customize to fit your needs as it is presented in word doc form.
The four videos are:
1. Intuition on static and kinetic friction comparisons (7:20)
2. Static & kinetic friction example (9:49)
3. Inclined plane force components (12:43)
4. Ice accelerating down an incline (10:37)
To access the videos (no need to create account!) go to khanacademy.org >subjects > science > physics > Forces and Newton's Laws of Motion >scroll down to Friction & Incline Planes
The packet includes an advance organizer for note taking on each video, as well as a few follow up questions to check for understanding and further application of knowledge. Could be used as a whole group activity, individual practice, reinforcement, or homework.
