These skill cards are designed to use more kid friendly language.
These skill cards can be used in multiple ways:
1. Copy them and make a skill ring for each student. Add a sticker and mark dates on the back when they master the skill.
2. Post these on a focus wall to let students know your focus for the day/ week. (Pictures of my focus wall are included.)
a. I print out each of these posters and skill cards. I cut them out, back them with construction paper and laminate them.
b. I also tape a number chart to the back of the laminated skill cards so that we can mark student learning.
c. I keep the focus wall skill cards on rings and hang them on my focus wall bulletin board. (See photos.)
*For posters I am including each of the standard headings but also generic Math, Reading, Writing and Content. THERE ARE THREE BORDER CHOICES AS WELL.
*I also am including headings for social studies, science and health.
*I also am including skill cards for Ohio first grade social studies and science standards.
