Interested in introducing Twitter to your students? This handy template is just the thing you need! This Word document is something you can edit to ask questions of your students. The original document was created for first graders, but it can be used in all elementary classrooms.
Each template has exactly 140 characters, the same as real tweets. (On my own copy, I added our school's hashtag, #mkises, to the end of the tweet so my kids only had 123 spaces to answer the questions. You may choose to identify your kid tweets in some way.)
These sheets can be turned in as reflections, posted on bulletin boards, or the adventurous teacher may also type tweets to a class account. Note: The annoying white box that appears in the preview image is NOT on the final product.
