KIDS IN TOUCH KIT is a very simple, research based, arts connected, values program that I have created for the classroom.

There is a great need to have a set values course in the classroom to provide children, particularly those that are missing out in the home, an alternative perspective.

The Kit For Educators consists of 20 one-hour art and craft connected lessons, each session introducing and focusing on one new value.

It is a little left of centre in that it utilises the repetition of affirmations such as I AM Friendly, I AM Smart, I AM Happy etc. as part of brain re-conditioning (information on neural growth/plasticity is included in the package) and simple visualisation techniques associated with each value to calm and engage the child/classroom.

It includes also a value affirmation to laminate and put up in the classroom for the week, pass it on values awards card and instructions on how to use them plus a list of valuable references. 

The beauty of The Kids In Touch Program is it’s simplicity, it can be
incorporated into an already established curriculum, either taking the place of OR inclusion into; art class, personal development, religious

studies, wellbeing requirement or even as parent run extra. 

The KIT introduces children to an emotional vocabulary, body/feelings awareness and personal responsibility reminding them to choose to focus on positive or optimistic perspectives for future life success and happiness. KIT also encourages acknowledgement of all feelings and appropriate channeling of emotion.

My first edition, emotional intelligence textbook, I AM Inspiration, was given positive reviews by the NSW Department of Education and Training in Australia and is endorsed by a Registered Psychologist. The second edition (E I ED ~ A Comprehensive Guide to Developing Emotional Intelligence in the Classroom is included in KIT for Educators.
E I ED contains many more classroom workshops for your enjoyment.
