This flip chart gives students practice with long a vowel patterns. It focuses on the -a_e, /ai/ and /ay/ vowel patterns. This is a great flip chart for students to use independently during center time. I used Activinspire to make these flip charts.

Page 16 - Train Game. The students will discover hidden words as they move their train down the track. If they can read the long a words, they get to move their train further down the track.
