Let’s Count On: Students will start at the bigger number and count up one to find the answer. Students will match the number cards to the problem cards. Students can practice on the answer sheet.

Ten Frame Matching: Students will match the number cards, word cards, and ten frame cards. Students will record work on the answer sheet.

Subtraction Stories and Pictures Cards: Students will choose a picture card and count the objects that are left. Students will match the number card to the picture card to show how many are left. Students can show their work on the answer sheet.

How many? Students will choose a black card and count out the apples. They will then choose a black card and take that many apples away. Students will match the new total to a green number card. Students will record work on the answer sheet.
