Kindies absolutely LOVE these Common Core Aligned Beginning letter sounds and case sorting Interactive Booklets! As any teacher knows, finding learning materials that engage children is half the battle in teaching. This does exactly just that!
Whether you participate in the "Letter of the Week" program (simply print off one set (4 pages) for each letter as you require them) or you're looking for a detailed, hands on teaching resource to practice letter sounds and case sorting, this booklet is what you need in your Kindergarten class!
For the letter of the week program, my kinders complete their worksheets over the span of 4 days. Once each letter is complete, I invite the children to staple their "letter books" together and print their names on the front. As each letter set is complete I store them in a file folder for each child and then using a binder ring will attach them all together to make one large booklet for each student.
By the end of the year (or unit, if you do it at once) each child will have completed a 104 (half) page interactive booklet consisting of all the letters of the alphabet!! They will be SO proud of all their hard work and will want to show off their learning to their family afterwards!
