School begins at 8:ish and so do your chores as a teacher - Many of them you cannot do until the students get into the room. Lunch counts, attendance, library book returns, etc. So, what are your students doing at this time? Reading a book? Maybe not quite at this time. So, how can you keep the class maintained, still learning, and fully engaged?
- You give them one of these 26 printables. Each of these worksheets give the students a chance to practice handwriting skills (which we don't have enough time to teach), phonics review, as well as different math concepts all geared towards beginning of the year (1-10).
Your students will improve fine motor skills as well as learn to work independently, establish routines, and allow you to get your morning procedures complete.
