This is an Excel spreadsheet with tabs to help you analyze the results of CKLA Skills, Kindergarten Unit 4. There are two assessments at the end of this unit - a CVC Word Recognition test and a CVC Word Reading test - and this tracker collects the results of both. There's a tab for each test and one that's a summary of the class as a whole - up to 30 students.

I've also made an automatic tracker for the Word Reading test, student by student - enter an X for each sound read incorrectly and the tracker will spit out an analysis of which sounds need remediation.

My favorite thing is making easy Excel solutions for your tedious computation problems so you can focus on actual teaching. Please enjoy and let me know what you think!

Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words. (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.)
Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes).
Recognize that spoken words are represented in written language by specific sequences of letters.
