Calendar Time is a huge part of the Kindergarten Math Curriculum. This is why these calendar packets are so useful. Once you add your own calendar cover sheet, add these “problem of the day” sheets. We have a calendar cover sheet for students to start out the day with and we put what number we are on in that month, draw a shape to make a pattern (or you could even draw the weather in the box for that day), and sing our days of the week song. I also have students write the date in each box (ex: 10-12-13). Once the calendar is complete, flip to the “problem of the day” and complete that as well. These problems are great spiraling activities to keep the Kinders fresh in topics such as patterns, numbers, adding, subtracting, number lines, time, etc. Each month has a least four weeks’ worth of problems (except December...that has three). It has been a GREAT tool for me to use on a daily basis! Enjoy!!
