This package includes 5 science bulletin board class activities, 3 science worksheets, and 14 math worksheets. All are Christmas/Winter themed.
Page 1 is a class survey, "Have you ever seen Snow?" It has space to write in how many students have and have not seen snow, a comparison space (___>___) and a graph that has space for 15 yes and 15 no answers. I hang this on my bulletin board.
Pages 2-5 are also class activities that are for the bulletin board. The first says "Reindeer are..." with a picture of a reindeer and numerous spaces for writing in student responses. I do this as a class activity where we all brainstorm and I write in the answers. There is an additional sheet for penguins, polar bears and arctic foxes. I hang these on the bulletin board.
Page 6 is a temperature themed worksheet. There are pictures of hot chocolate, a lit candle, a snow man, a fire place, and milk (and cookies) that the students cut out and arrange from coldest to hottest. There are two thermometers (one on the cold side and one on the hot side) that the students then color in.
Page 7 is about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. There is a picture of a polar bear that reads "Polar Bears are carnivores. They only eat meat. Can you draw a fish for the Polar Bear to eat?" A Reindeer is used for the herbivore and an Arctic Fox for the omnivore. There are spaces on the right for drawing the foods these animals eat.
Page 8 says "Circle the animals that live in the snow" with pictures of a penguin, polar bear, parrot, reindeer, iguana, and arctic fox. The bottom half has a blank space that says "Draw a picture of the North Pole"
