~1 'Jumping Beans!' activity. You provide your students with an assortment of dried beans for this activity. They estimate the total amount of beans, find ways to sort them, count the number of each type of bean, count total beans, and graph them in the provided grid. The graph can fit 50 beans (5 types, 10 of each). I normally have them sort by color, and give them red, white, green, black and brown beans. The graph will fit all 50 beans, and I have them color the spaces afterward (black beans they color black, red they color red, etc)
~1 'Counting in Spanish!' worksheet where students trace and write the numbers uno - cinco in Spanish, then cut out the numbers 1 - 5 and have them match the number to the Spanish word.
