Learning Objectives: Students will be given the opportunity to practice reading comprehension, and responding to the text through reading, vocabulary, discussion, and writing tasks.

Outline of Lesson Plan: This lesson is designed to be delivered in four days of instruction. It is recommended that the days are not broken up. Try to start on a Monday and finish on a Thursday.

W.K.2 Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic.
