Kindergarten ELA Curriculum: Reading in a Snap Unit 1
What educators are saying
Thank you for looking!
Reading in a Snap is designed to teach reading and writing quickly and easily. The daily focus is on sight words, sounds, beginning reading and sentence structure. There are also read aloud titles and prompts to go with them.
This program would be great for homeschool, a kindergarten class with no ELA program or any kindergarten class interested in something extra, or a supplement to their program.
Each day is laid out for you. There are daily plans that can be implemented to fit your schedule. My suggested uses are described and shown. This program provides instructions, plans and activities for all aspects of ELA in kindergarten. It is aligned to the Common Core standards and is easily implemented, there is a Common Core chart that show which standards are used in this unit and which activities go with each standard. Unit one contains the activities and instructions for the entire first month. There will be a total of ten units for the whole kindergarten year.
Each unit focuses on one vowel sound, ten sight words, a letter each week (Until all are used), readers notebook activities with read aloud titles, beginning reading, sentence structure and more!
The letter for unit two are A,B,T,M.
