This product contains FIVE different Early Literacy sorting activities. Students will sort letters, numbers, pictures, and sentences. Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade students truly need to master their Early Literacy Behaviors before moving on to the wonderful world of reading. This activity is PERFECT for the beginning of the school year in Kindergarten!
Each sorting activity can be used in whichever way suits the learner. These can be used for small group instruction, remediation, morning work, center work, and can even be sent home as homework.
The student will simply need to cut on the dotted line at the bottom of the page. Once this is done, you will have your sorting board and your sorting pieces. All of the pieces need to be cut separately. Once all of the cutting is complete, students will go through each piece and decide where it belongs on their sorting board. Once the student finds the correct spot, they can glue it into place.
***THIS ACTIVITY COMBINES EARLY LITERACY WITH FINE MOTOR SKILL PRACTICE, MAKING IT A PERFECT ACTIVITY FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL***
