Here are some of the activities we set out around Easter time in our Kindergarten classroom. I hope your students enjoy them too!

DECORATE & DESCRIBE - I use page 19 with an egg decorating kit I got from Dollarama. I also included an editable file so you can add your own words and use with any type of egg decorating kit! Or you can use pages 21-22 and have the students decorate the egg directly on the paper.
*If you would like the font to be the same as the original in the editable file, please download and install the font KG Primary Penmanship

CRACK & SOLVE CVC WORDS - Cut and laminate the pieces on page 6. I put each set in a matching egg (e.g. c, a, t and the picture for the cat in a pink egg) and then put them in an Easter basket with some Easter grass. Then I invite the students to open the egg, find the picture and unscramble the letters to spell the word. Then the students record the letters on the "CVC Easter Eggs" recording sheet.

EASTER PUSH PIN SHEETS - Print and copy these on copy paper, then staple on to coloured construction paper. Have students use a push pin to trace the picture and the word. Have students remove the sheet to reveal the picture and word underneath! I have the students do this on the carpet so that we don't damage the tables.

EASTER PATTERN BRACELETS - My kids love making bracelets so I made bracelet templates for them!
Version 1 - Page 51 - Print and cut the page into strips. Have students colour the eggs in and make a pattern. Students can glue the ends together to make it a bracelet to take home.
Version 2 - Page 52-53: Print and cut page 52 into strips. Print and copy page 53. Set them out and have students cut, colour and glue the pictures onto their blank strip to make a pattern!
