Product Description

Here are some activities I set out for my Kindergarten students during the months of September, October and November!

What's included:

p. 2-5: FALL PRINTING {LETTERS} - Tracing uppercase and lowercase letters! 1 page for uppercase and 1 page for lowercase. Print and laminate and set out with dry erase markers to use over and over! B&W versions included.

p. 6-9: FALL WORDS - A chart of fall words to add to your writing centre. Have students use them to copy the words or write a sentence with it. In both colour and B&W. I usually set these out with whiteboards & dry erase markers but you could use blank paper or writing paper as well. Simple writing paper printable included.

Words included on the chart are: apple, apple pie, leaf, pinecone, tree, acorn, hay, pumpkin, pumpkin pie, scarecrow, crow, sunflower

p. 10-14: FALL DO-A-DOT LETTERS - Have students use bingo daubers or do-a-dot markers to dot print the letters and read the simple sentence!

Sentences included are:

- A is for apple.

- L is for leaf.

- P is for pumpkin

- T is for tree.

- S is for sunflower.

p. 15-20: Q-TIP FALL WORDS & PICTURES - Have your students use q-tip and paint to dot and draw the picture and print the corresponding word! Words included are leaf (2 picture options), apple, acorn, squirrel and tree.

p. 21-33: ROLL, SAY, FIND & TRACE - Print the dice templates on cardstock and assemble the dice. Print and laminate the game mat (or you can use the B&W version that they can take home after they play). They can play this game by themselves or with a partner.

If playing by themselves: Roll the dice, say the letter/sight word, find the letter/sight word on the mat and trace the word. Repeat until all words are traced.

If playing with a partner. Take turns rolling the dice. Say the sight word, find the sight word on your mat and trace the word. If you already traced all of the sight word that you rolled, you lose a turn. First person to trace all words on their mat is the winner!

3 mats included:

Letters on pumpkin/pumpkin pie mat: M, A, T, S, C, R (the mat for this one is only in colour)

Sight words on the pumpkin mat: a, I , see, the, is, like

Sight words on the apple mat: it, am, look, at, me, can

p. 34-37: FALL PRINTING {NUMBERS} - Numbers 1-10 on mat #1 and numbers 11-20 on mat #2. In colour and B&W.

p. 38-48: COUNTING APPLES PRINTING MATS - Count the apples on the top right corner and and practice printing the number! Great for 1:1 correspondence and number formation practice.

Cover page included for B&W pages in case you want to make it into a booklet!

p. 49-52: FALL NUMBER ORDER PUZZLE - Print, laminate and cut on the line. Have students put the numbers in order to reveal the picture! A puzzle for numbers 1-10 and a puzzle for numbers 11-20 is included.

p. 53-67: FALL COUNTING PLAY DOUGH MATS - Print, cut and laminate these half page play dough mats and set them out with play dough. Students are invited to count the fall items and then make the same number with play dough in the ten frame. You can also use small loose parts instead of play dough! Great for 1:1 correspondence, number identification and fine motor development! Colour and B&W mats included.

p. 68-79: COUNTING LEAVES - Great for intervention! Have students practice their 1:1 correspondence, number formation and number identification with these "Counting Leaves" booklet! Copy and staple a booklet for each child you are working with. Have students trace the number, read the sentence and add that many leaves to the tree. You can use stickers, paint, leaf cutouts/confetti or just plain crayons/markers to add the leaves! If you don't have any of the above, I also included some leaves that you can print and cut and have the students glue on to their trees.

p. 80-85: ROLL & COVER - Students roll a dice and cover that corresponding numeral on the mat. They can play this game by themselves (keep rolling until they cover all of the numbers) or with a partner (see who can cover all of their numbers first).

p. 86-89: SPIN, SAY & COVER - Here is a game students can play to reinforce 2D shape names! I have the students use a paper clip and a pencil tip to make the spinner (you can also add a brad and a paper clip to make the spinner).

If playing by themselves: Have the student spin the spinner, say the shape name and cover the shape with a marker (you can use bingo chips, snap cubes, flat marbles etc.) Repeat until all shapes are covered.

If playing with a friend: Have students take turns spinning the spinner, saying the shape name and covering the shape with a marker. If you spin a shape and they are all already covered, you lose a turn. The first person to cover all of their shapes win!

There are 2 mats.

Mat #1 has these shapes: circle, square, rectangle, triangle

Mat #2 has these shapes: hexagon, star, diamond, oval

Both mats come in colour or B&W.

p. 90-93: FALL PATTERN BRACELETS - Have students make a pattern on the leaves! There is an option to just create a pattern and an option to also name the pattern underneath. Please use the printable that is best suited for your class!

Have students cut out the squares with fall pictures (there is an apple, leaf, pumpkin and pinecone) and create a pattern on the blank bracelet template. Then have the students name the pattern underneath.

I hope you enjoy doing these activities with your students!
