Literacy Centers Activities:
Beginning Sound Write the Room- Students find each Fall squirrel card in the classroom. They look at the picture, say the word, and write the beginning sound.
Does it Rhyme? Pocket Chart Sort- Students look at each card, say each word, and decide if it rhymes. The card is then placed under the correct header in the pocket chart.
Beginning Sound Cards- Students look at each card, name both pictures, and decide if it starts with the same sound. A bingo dabber is used to respond.
Beginning Letter Match- Students match each picture to the beginning letter.
Autumn Letter Hunt- Students spin the spinner which will tell them to find an upper or lowercase letter. On their paper, students search for and mark a letter using a bingo dabber.
Missing Letter- Students complete each sequence with the missing letter. When all cards are completed, students fill in the missing letters on their activity sheet.
Writing Word Cards- These cards can be used to help your students make fall themed sentences or lists. They can be at your writing station or on your word wall!
Math Center Activities:
Number Puzzles-Laminate and cut apart the number puzzles. Students match the numbers to the ten frames and counting sets.
Number Tracing and Ten Frames- Laminate and cut apart number cards. Students trace the numbers using fingers, dry erase markers, or play dough. Then they fill in the ten frames using the fall flowers.
Count the Room- Laminate and cut apart the acorns. Hide the acorns around the room. Students find each acorns, count the dots, and record the amount on their paper.
Count, Add, Clip- Laminate and cut apart the cards. Students count each picture set, add, and clip the answer with a clothespin. Then, students complete the assessment page.
Missing Number- Laminate and cut apart the cards. Students find the missing number on each card and color the missing number on their paper.

10-- Complete a question prompt and draw a picture
