These are a fun way to practice kindergarten timed fluency while keeping the students engaged. Students spin a fidget spinner on a desk or table and try to complete the problems on the sheet before the spinner stops. Although most timed fluency tests are 1 minute and fidget spinner typically spin a little longer, this is GREAT speed practice that your students will love.
Includes a wide variety of kindergarten skills to reach learners such as:
letter sound identification
subitizing with tens frames
one more to 20
one less to 20
ten more (composing teen numbers)
as well as many more.
Some of the fluency practices may be done orally, while some will require writing (although students could do these orally as well). You may wish to copy back to back and students can try a first time and then try to beat their own score the 2nd time.
These are a great end of the year review for students or great to send home as summer review!
