This includes 9 math and literacy activities I created for my kindergarten classroom with a gingerbread theme. It includes:
*Printables to create a "First Bite" graph. Have your kids take a bite of a gingerbread man and chart what their first bite was.
*Printables to create an ending punctuation chart about question marks, exclamation points, and periods.
*A teen number write the room. Students hunt for 10 frames, and record the number.
*A teen number 10 frame book. Students add gingerbread men to make a teen number (how many more do you need?).
*A book about the gingerbread man where students write about the story (Why did he run away? Who was chasing him? etc.).
*A number sort with numbers more or less than 20.
*A measurement activity where students see how many candies tall printed gingerbread cookies are.
*A CVC word memory game.
*A fill in the sight word sheet from "Gingerbread Baby" that includes a house to color and decorate.
