WEEK 4 FOCUS (MATH)
Click "preview" to see photos or see below for additional detail.
This week your student(s) is/are going to explore two-dimensional shapes--to learn their names, what makes them different from each other, what makes them similar to each other, and how to build them.

Your students will take a look at the life of Sir Edmund Hillary and learn how his work inspired others to be modest when achieving great things.

Our hope is for your students to strive to do great things while also remaining modest.

They will be exploring two-dimensional shapes using pattern blocks, attribute blocks, and geoboards. They will also look for shapes in real-life objects.

They will end the week playing games, performing tasks, and reading books related to two-dimensional shapes. They will share the shape names they’ve learned, no matter the arrangement, size, or color of the shapes.
