This packet contains pages that can be used as homework for the first quarter of kindergarten. They could also be used for review in the classroom, pre-K kids, or first grade students who may need intervention. One page is used weekly and has various print concept and comprehension questions the parent can ask while reading with their child each night. Then there are letter pages, offering writing practice and a space for the child to draw a picture (and label it) that starts with each letter (3 letters to a page). Finally, there is number review - offering writing practice and a place to draw the correct number of objects. This is a good introduction to homework, it is repetitive so students know what to expect and may be able to work independently on it. I hope you find it very useful in your classroom. Stay tuned for homework for Quarters 2, 3, and 4 which will include sight words, ten frames, 2d & 3d shapes, and simple addition and subtraction (including story problems). Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to see!
